Other rankings updates show that Daryl Mitchell of New Zealand and Babar Azam of Pakistan are currently tied for third position with 768 points. Following this most recent rating update, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have dropped to fifth and sixth place, respectively.
Following an outstanding series against the West Indies, Joe Root of England has taken back the top spot in the ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings.

Moreover, Steve Smith of Australia and Rohit Sharma of India are placed fifth and sixth, respectively. Harry Brook of England is now ranked seventh following a less memorable series.
In addition, thanks to his efforts as an all-rounder, England captain Ben Stokes has moved up four positions to 30th in the Test bowling rankings.
Due to their outstanding performances, other England bowlers Mark Wood and Gus Atkinson have also moved up in the rankings, coming in at 20th and 46th, respectively.
Stokes has climbed up to sixth rank among Test all-rounders, while Chris Woakes has risen to ninth. Ravindra Jadeja of India is still well ahead of any other all-round player in the rankings.
