LAHORE: The Australian cricket team has arrived in Lahore to participate in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy, which begins on February 19.
The Australian cricket team, which includes 15 players, was taken to the hotel from the airport under tight security. The 17-member squad reached Lahore early Monday morning.
Steve Smith is leading the Australian side after Pat Cummins was already sidelined due to injuries. Cricket Australia confirmed that with Cummins missing out, Steven Smith will captain a different-looking squad.

Starc’s absence means they will be without their entire World Cup-winning frontline pace attack for the tournament in Pakistan and the UAE, which starts on February 19.
