This qualification round is crucial for Pakistan, as Arshad Nadeem is the nation’s sole medal hopeful in the javelin throw at the Paris Games. The competition in Group B will be intense, featuring prominent throwers such as Edis Matusevicius, who is ranked fifth in the world; Anderson Peters, ranked sixth globally; and Germany’s Max Dehning, who has surpassed 90 meters this year.
To advance to the final round, athletes must achieve a minimum throw of 84 meters. The top competitors will then vie for medals in the final.
