The rest of the batters failed to impress apart from Rashid Khan, who hit three sixes in his 19 off 10 balls cameo. In response, Bangladesh lost some early wickets, but Liton Das kept their hopes alive with a brilliant half-century. However, it wasn’t enough to see them get over the line.
Rashid Khan was once again brilliant with the ball as he bagged four wickets in his four over spell. Following their win, Afghanistan will face South Africa in a historic semi-final.
