He declined the option of remarriage solely to ensure the birth of a son. Marwat’s decision received acclaim on social media, with actor Sonya Hussyn among those commending him.
“In our challenging world, I deeply admire this individual,” expressed the Saraab actor in an Instagram post. “He recognizes the importance of kindness and adhering to fundamental principles in relationships.”
Reflecting on Marwat’s statement, Hussyn expressed sorrow over societal expectations regarding the importance of having a son. “It’s truly unjust to marry solely for the sake of having a son,” she remarked. However, she lauded Marwat for his fidelity to his wife, emphasizing that his steadfast commitment and family values would shield his daughters from potential hardships. “Through this decision, he not only honored his wife but also safeguarded his daughters from a lifetime of sorrow,” she noted. “I’m confident his daughters will bring him immense pride one day.” Hussyn concluded her post by stating, “Respect, sir.”
