By WEB DESK: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and her husband Zaheer Iqbal have opted to disable comments on their social media accounts following a wave of trolling.
Shortly after sharing photos from their wedding ceremony, the couple disabled comments on their marriage announcement post, a move seemingly aimed at shielding themselves from negative remarks during what should have been a joyous occasion.
Sonakshi and Zaheer tied the knot in a private ceremony on Sunday evening. The couple, who have been in a relationship for several years, chose a low-key registered marriage with a civil ceremony held at Sonakshi’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai.

The intimate wedding was attended by close family members and friends, including Sonakshi’s Heeramandi co-star Aditi Rao Hydari and actor Siddharth. Pre-wedding rituals commenced on Saturday with pujas at Sonakshi’s family home, Ramayan. Sonakshi, adorned in a blue kurta suit, participated in the rituals alongside her mother, Poonam Sinha.
The celebrations continued with an indoor party for friends and family on June 20, followed by a mehendi ceremony on June 21, attended by Sonakshi’s parents, Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha. Reports also suggest that separate bachelor and bachelorette parties were organized with their close circle of friends.
