Social media influencer Hareem Shah has announced her formal entry into UK politics, with aspirations to become a member of the British Parliament. Shah revealed that she has joined the Liberal Democrats after being invited by a senior party leader and has actively campaigned for them in recent elections.
Campaigning for Liberal Democrats and pursuing legal studies
Speaking to Geo News, Hareem Shah shared, “I have formally entered British politics and campaigned for the Liberal Democrats in the recent election. I am grateful to the party for considering me worthy and allowing me to contribute to their political efforts.” She expressed her commitment to fulfilling the party’s expectations and her pride in working with other Pakistanis within the Liberal Democrats.

Shah, who moved to the UK over a year ago, is also pursuing an LLB degree, with her tuition and living expenses covered by the British government. She noted that she holds a master’s degree from Pakistan and is also a Hafiz-e-Quran. “Being able to sit in the British Parliament and contribute politically as a Pakistani is a great achievement for me,” she added.
Shah has been residing in London since leaving Pakistan and is continuing her studies while participating in British politics.
