Sindh Provincial Education Department has declared a holiday on Monday, August 26, for all public and private schools in the province in observance of the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).
Meanwhile, the College Education Department has also announced a holiday for Chehlum of Imam Hussain. A notification regarding the holiday has been issued by the College Education Department as well.

It is noteworthy that on the occasion of Chehlum of Imam Hussain, processions and gatherings are organised at various locations across the country.
