By Karachi: The Sindh government has officially announced May 1st as a public holiday across the province of Sindh in observance of Labour Day.
As per the notification, this public holiday applies to all government offices, autonomous bodies, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative jurisdiction of the Sindh government, except for essential services.
While the federal government has not yet announced this year’s holiday, both government and private sector employees are eagerly awaiting an official declaration of the holiday.
