Gallup Pakistan’s latest survey, conducted between June 28 and July 10, evaluated public awareness of the current prime minister’s name.
The survey, which included over 700 participants nationwide, provides insights into how well the public is informed about the country’s leadership.
The survey results showed that 65% of Pakistanis correctly named Shehbaz Sharif as the current Prime Minister, indicating a high level of public awareness.
In the survey, 20% of respondents gave incorrect answers regarding the current Prime Minister’s name, reflecting some level of confusion or misinformation. Additionally, 14% of those surveyed admitted that they did not know who the Prime Minister is.

The survey also revealed notable gender differences in awareness levels. Among the participants, 71% of men accurately identified Shehbaz Sharif as the current Prime Minister. In contrast, only 61% of women were able to name him correctly.
The survey data highlighted a clear divide between urban and rural areas regarding awareness of the Prime Minister’s identity. Urban respondents showed a higher level of knowledge, with 72% correctly naming Shehbaz Sharif. In contrast, only 63% of those from rural areas were able to identify the Prime Minister.
