Sheikh Hasina’s son says his mother will never return to Bangladesh

Sajeeb Wajed, son of former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has expressed his family’s exhaustion from repeatedly trying to rescue the country amid its current challenges.

“My mother turned Bangladesh around. When she took over power it was considered a failing & poor country. Until today it was considered one of the rising tigers of Asia”

“My family has been through this three times, 3 coups, after this, We are done. The country can now handle its own problems.”

Sheikh Hasina’s son says his mother will never return to Bangladesh.
