Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan revived the horror-comedy franchise with Bhushan Kumar and BR Films “Bhoothnath 3” Bollywood fans can look forward to another installment of the popular horror-comedy series.
Producer Bhushan Kumar and BR Films are reportedly in the development stages of ‘Bhootnath 3’. The film aims to bring back the famous duo of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, with Bachchan reprising his role… Dara and Khan star as the main guests. Same as the role in the previous part.
The ‘Bhootnath’ franchise started in 2008 with Bachchan leading the cast and the story blending comedy and supernatural elements, with Shah Rukh Khan making a memorable cameo. The success of the film led to “Bhootnath Returns” directed by Nitesh Tiwari in 2014. It went from strength to strength.

According to Pinquilla, the new film is expected to begin filming in 2025, with a target date of 2026. A source close to the production said that while the script is currently in development, Casting decisions are still being considered. This is because the filmmakers focused on creating an interesting storyline. It’s not like the first two movies.
The makers are considering a more important role for Shah Rukh. Khan in the third part is based on the final script… If completed, “Bhootnath 3” will join Bhushan Kumar’s successful horror-comedy films after the success of “Bhool Bhulaiya”.
