The head of Awami Muslim League, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad, has stated X (formerly Twitter). In his X post, Sheikh Rasheed stated that all constitutional institutions are bound by the Supreme Court’s orders, and the Election Commission is also obligated to follow the Supreme Court’s decisions.
Sheikh Rasheed further wrote that the authority to provide a clear interpretation of the Constitution lies with the Supreme Court.
He remarked that the Supreme Court’s clear interpretation of Article 63A has shattered the government’s hopes and left their planning in disarray.

In his X statement, the Awami Muslim League leader said that it appears the government is about to fall into its own trap. If the Supreme Court declares that the Election Commission has failed to conduct fair elections, further complications will arise.
Sheikh Rasheed also predicted that by September 30, there could be significant political upheaval, and democracy might even become a spectacle.
He added that the so-called assemblies could also face further crises.
