Saudi Arabia has planned to launch a cable car system by 2025 to enhance access to the Cave of Hira, a historic and religious site located on Makkah’s Jabal Al Noor,
This site is revered as the location where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received his first revelation.

The initiative, aimed at improving the pilgrimage experience, will connect visitors to the cave situated approximately 634 meters above sea level.
Previously, visiting the cave was challenging due to the mountain’s steep incline and rugged terrain. However, the recent inauguration of a paved road has made access easier.
