By The Saudi Interior Ministry has introduced entry restrictions to Makkah for all visit visa holders from May 23 to June 21, 2024, aligning with the upcoming Hajj season.
It’s important to note that visit visas do not grant authorization for Hajj participation.
Visitors in Saudi Arabia on visit visas are strongly advised against traveling to Makkah during this period to avoid penalties as per the Kingdom’s regulations.
In a significant event marking the beginning of the Hajj 2024 season, authorities in Makkah raised the Kiswa (Ghilaf-e-Kaaba) on Thursday.
