Saudi Arabia’s largest oil company Aramco along with Gas and Oil Pakistan (Go) Petroleum Company on Tuesday inaugurated its first fuel station in Pakistan.

The first fuel station of Aramco and Go Petroleum has been launched in Lahore, the capital of Punjab. A month ago, Aramco signed an agreement to acquire a 40 per cent stake in Gas and Oil Pakistan (GO Limited). After which Aramco officially launched its first fuel station.

This first fuel station of Aramco has been established at Noor Jahan Road in Gulbarg Commercial Area. On the occasion of the inauguration, the staff of both institutions as well as local people were present.

Aramco is one of the world’s leading energy and chemical companies. And its partnership with GO is expected to deliver high-quality fuel in Pakistan.

Yasir M. Mufti, Aramco’s Executive Vice President for Products and Customers, described the opening of Aramco’s first fuel station in Pakistan as an important milestone.

He said that the two countries have been working for a long time to increase bilateral trade and investment.

It should be noted that Saudi Arabia has reiterated its commitment to accelerate the investment package of 5 billion dollars for Pakistan this year.
