Pakistani singer Sara Raza Khan while taking a dig at fellow singer Aima Baig, said that latter is not a real singer.
Sara, in a podcast with Zabadast with Wasi Shah. while commenting on Aima Baig’s singing skills said, “If you remove the auto-tune, you will realise that Aima Baig is not a singer.”
Sara further explained her statement and said, “There are many names in the industry that we admire as entertainers or models, but you can’t expect them all to sing.”
Her statement sparked mixed reactions from the audience, with some agreeing that Aima Baig’s accent seems artificial.
Others, however, criticised Sara, saying that she herself sing on marriage events for money and is pointing fingers at others in the industry
While sharing one of the best moments of her life, Sara Raza also talked about her successful performances in South Korea and Nepal.
She also mentioned her raag Bahaar, highlighting that in the UK, students up to 8th grade are made to listen to it, and schools observe its impact on them.
Sara Raza Khan is a famous Pakistani singer who started her career with a show called Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge in 2009. She was also the winner of the Pakistani show Bright Star and a participant in the famous show Sur Kshetra. Her famous drama tracks include the soundtrack of Mere Qatil Mere Dildar.
