By Imran Mirza, the father of Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, has finally addressed the swirling reports about his daughter’s alleged second marriage to Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami.
Speaking to an Indian media outlet on Friday, he vehemently dismissed the rumours, labelling them as completely baseless. “This is all rubbish. She has not even met him,” he asserted.
Previously, several Indian media sources had speculated that Sania Mirza, a tennis sensation and the ex-wife of Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, was set to marry Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami in August.

Sania, who is currently performing the Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, recently ended her marriage with Shoaib Malik following allegations of his infidelity.
