Sania Ashiq, a member of the Punjab Assembly from the Pakistan Muslim League (N), has been included in the cabinet of the Chief Minister of Punjab. She has been assigned the role of Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Special Education. Sania Ashiq became a member of the Punjab Assembly at a young age after the 2018 general elections.
She has been working with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz for nearly a decade and holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Punjab University.
Additionally, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Salma Butt, has been assigned the portfolio of Price Control and Commodities Management Department. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved this appointment for Salma Butt.
