Sabrina Carpenter unveiled the trailer for her upcoming Netflix holiday special, A Nonsense Christmas, on Monday night, just ahead of her final US concert for the Short n’ Sweet tour at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Fans at the event were treated to the trailer’s live debut, revealing a lineup of notable guest stars and musical performances.
The special will feature musical appearances by Chappell Roan, Tyla, Shania Twain, and Kali Uchis. Joining in scripted roles are Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Nico Hiraga, Megan Stalter, Sean Astin, Owen Thiele, and Jillian Bell.
Netflix describes the event as “a nonsense holiday” full of “show-stopping music performances, comedic guests, unexpected duets, and surprise cameos.” Carpenter will perform tracks from her holiday EP Fruitcake alongside iconic holiday covers.

Sabrina takes lead as executive producer
Sabrina Carpenter is an executive producer on the project, alongside her sister Sarah and her managers, Bill Perlman and Janelle Lopez Genzink. The special is produced by OBB Pictures, with Michael D. Ratner, Scott Ratner, Simone Spira, and Kfir Goldberg also serving as executive producers. Sam Wrench, known for directing Taylor Swift’s 2023 concert film, will helm the special.
After wrapping her U.S. tour, Carpenter is set to embark on the UK and Europe leg of her Short n’ Sweet tour. Starting March 3, 2025, in Dublin’s 3Arena, the tour will make stops at major venues, including London’s The O2 and Paris’s Accor Arena, before concluding in Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on March 23.
