The restaurants in Lahore will now remain open till 10pm while there will no time limitations for food delivery.
Dine-in, parking, and takeaway services will also be available during these hours.
The recent development took place following the enhancement of Lahore’s air quality due to artificial rain.
Despite this better situation, All public and private educational institutions, including universities, colleges, and schools in Lahore and Multan, will remain closed until November 24 due to the prevailing severe smog conditions.
Earlier, the Punjab government recently permitted dine-in services until 4pm, while delivery options will continue to be available until 8pm.
Dense smog, caused by toxic pollutants, engulfed several cities in Punjab over the past few weeks, with Lahore and Multan being the worst hit. The AQI reading in Multan has already crossed 2,000 twice, setting a new record for air pollution.
