Renowned Pakistani actress Resham has made serious allegations against director Syed Noor, claiming he significantly harmed her film career. Resham, known for her roles in popular films such as Jeeva and Sangam, began her career on television before gaining fame in cinema. Despite her early success, she has recently shifted focus to charity work and stepped back from acting.
In a recent appearance on the ‘Excuse Me’ podcast with Ahmed Ali Butt, Resham addressed her career and Pakistani cinema, stating, “I recently heard Syed Noor say that I was an unfortunate actress because I ruined myself by working in low-budget films.”

Resham defended her film choices, arguing that all actors experience highs and lows in their careers. “Show me any actor who has only done good work. We all have ups and downs, but everyone thinks only Resham made bad films,” she asserted.
The Gunjal actress also accused Noor of professional betrayal, alleging that his personal feelings for actress Saima led him to cast her repeatedly in his films, sidelining Resham. “Syed Noor was the only director who understood my acting, but he stopped giving me roles because of his feelings for Saima Ji,” she explained.
She concluded with a strong statement: “By God, Syed Noor ruined my career. He insulted me on set, asking who would cast me in their films.”
