Qatar has shown interest in expanding the recruitment of skilled labor from Punjab.
During a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Muslim League-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the Ambassador of Qatar, Ali bin Mubarak Al Khater, commended Pakistan’s skilled workforce.
He also expressed interest in increasing recruitment from Punjab. The leaders emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for collaboration.

The chief minister highlighted the business-friendly policies of the Punjab government and extended an invitation to Qatari businesspeople and industrialists to invest in the province.
“We want to promote economic relations between Punjab and Qatar,” she said during the meeting. The meeting also involved discussions on cooperation in the development of infrastructure and other sectors in Punjab.
