Obtaining a driving license in Punjab is set to become more easy as the Inspector General of Punjab has announced major relief for candidates who fail their driving tests.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore, Ammara Athar, has announced a major update for driving test candidates in Punjab. Now, those who fail the road test will no longer have to wait 42 days to retake it; instead, they can retake the test after just 15 days. This facility was already available for candidates who failed the sign test.
Ammara Athar stated that in order to save valuable time, amendments have been made to the Punjab Motor Vehicle Rules 1969. Now, candidates who fail both the sign test and the road test can retake them after 15 days.
