In May, the education department implemented a new transfer policy. This policy allows teachers to apply for transfers throughout the year based on hardship criteria, such as disability, widowhood, divorce, or long-distance issues.
Under the revised policy, teachers can apply for general and mutual transfers twice a year, while inter-district and wedlock transfers are available year-round. Additionally, all promotions must be finalized within 30 days, and district committees are required to process applications within this period.
