Punjab govt announces summer vacations from June 1 to August 14

WEB DESK: Punjab government, has announced summer vacations for schools across the province on Friday, issuing an official notification outlining the new schedule.

According to the notification, both public and private schools in Punjab will observe summer vacations from June 1 to August 14. The decision comes in response to the extreme weather conditions currently affecting the region.

In addition to the vacation dates, the Education Department has revised school hours to accommodate the soaring temperatures. From Monday to Thursday, schools will operate from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM. On Fridays, the school day will be shortened, with classes running from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
