Punjab has appointed new Vice Chancellors for six leading universities across the province, according to an official notification issued recently.
Dr Shahid Munir has been named Vice Chancellor of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, a prestigious institution renowned for its engineering programs.
Dr Ahmad Shuja has been appointed to lead the University of Gujrat, while Muhammad Inayatullah Khan has taken over as Vice Chancellor of UET Taxila.
In Multan, Dr Muhammad Zubair will assume the role of Vice Chancellor at Bahauddin Zakariya University, a major center for higher education in Southern Punjab.

Dr Amir Azam has been assigned the top role at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Technology, Rahim Yar Khan. Meanwhile, Dr Akif Anwar will head the University of Education in Lahore, which specializes in teacher training and education.
