The Islamabad administration has approved a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally scheduled for September 8. The District Magistrate issued the notification following a review of security concerns.
Previously, the administration had canceled the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for an August 22 rally due to protests by religious groups. For the upcoming rally, security will be provided by the administration.
Participants have been advised not to infringe on any citizen’s fundamental rights. The event will start at 4 PM and must end by 7 PM.

The notification has outlined 40 specific directives for the event, and organizers are responsible for ensuring the crowd disperses immediately. Organizers are tasked with managing internal security and providing a list of attendees to local police in advance.
According to the administration, anti-state, anti-religious, or anti-Pakistan slogans or speeches are prohibited, as are the burning of effigies or flags. Furthermore, weapons will not be allowed near the event.
It is pertinent to mention that the party announced to postpone its today’s jalsa. The announcement was made by the PTI leaders following the directives of Imran Khan.
