Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Haji Imtiaz Ahmed, who previously evaded capture after escaping from anti-corruption custody, has been re-arrested.
Moreover, authorities apprehended the MNA at Multan airport as he attempted to flee to Qatar.

In addition, just days ago, Haji Imtiaz Ahmed had been freed from the anti-corruption team in Gujranwala following an armed attack on the team, sparking concerns and a heightened effort to recapture him.
He was initially detained by the Anti-Corruption Establishment on corruption charges but managed to escape during the assault on the anti-corruption team.
