The president of the Awam Pakistan Party Shahid Khaqan Abbasi stated during a private television program that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is not a political party in the traditional sense, but rather a party centered around a single individual, namely Imran Khan.
Former Prime Minister further stated that every elected man is not qualified to hold a key position, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s decision to make Buzdar and Mahmood Khan as Chief Minister proved wrong.
He further stated that Imran Khan assigned Punjab to Usman Buzdar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Mahmood Khan, from which one can infer what political mindset Imran Khan possesses.

The former prime minister asked, ‘Will you give the Union Council of Lahore to Usman Buzdar to manage? This is a province with 130 million people. What are you doing with this country? Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are such large provinces; how have you chosen people to run them?
