PTI Information Secretary Raoof Hassan has denied any knowledge of being removed from his position, stating that he will discuss the matter with Imran Khan in a meeting scheduled for tomorrow.
Hassan highlighted that if removal discussions arise, he would resign willingly. He also noted that changes in party positions are a healthy tradition.
In an interview with ARY News, Hassan addressed the recent amendments to the NAB laws. He recalled that when the petition against the amendments was filed, Imran Khan asserted that the issue was not personal but a matter of state and public interest. Khan had argued that if corruption was not held accountable, then neither should the general public be.

Hassan remarked that despite their efforts, the Supreme Court’s reversal of the amendments has now made them a law, accessible to every citizen. He highlighted that those who benefited from the NAB amendments are no longer relevant, as PTI opposed the law. Hassan reiterated that all the cases against Imran Khan, including the Toshakhana case, are fabricated.
With the new law in place, Hassan believes it applies equally to all, including the PML-N and PPP. He asserted that if PTI benefits from it, so should every citizen. Hassan also clarified that there is no current discussion about changing the party’s Information Secretary role, labeling recent media speculation as unfounded.
