WEB DESK: Prime Minister orders closure of Pakistan’s PWD, Establishment Division prepares summary.

According to the summary prepared by the Establishment Division, employees of the Pakistan Public Works Department (PWD) will be reassigned based on a surplus pool for civil servants, while non-civil servants will be assessed according to their roles, and contract employees according to their contracts.

In addition, the Establishment Division will handle matters related to assets of PWD, and the Ministry of Housing and Works can also consult international consultants regarding PWD departmental affairs.

Furthermore, a ministerial committee has also been empowered to oversee PWD-related issues. The Establishment Division has forwarded the summary to the Ministry of Housing and Works.
