ISLAMABAD: ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) negotiating committee has been granted permission to meet funding chairman Imran Khan at Adiala jail.

Geo TV cited high-placed sources reported that the negotiating committee is likely to meet Imran Khan today.

PTI’s negotiating committee is likely to meet the founding PTI by 2 pm today.

Earlier, after the second round of talks on January 2, the negotiation committee was not granted access to Imran Khan at Adiala Jail.

the government side in the meeting had asked the PTI to present their demands in writing for which the committee was seeking a meeting with its incarcerated leader.

The PTI in the second round of talks had demanded the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the events of May 9 and November 26, and the release of all political prisoners, including Imran Khan.

Former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar, who is part of the PTI negotiation committee, said in a programme on Geo News’ Naya Pakistan, that he does not want to insult, but will ask why the commitment being made was not fulfilled.

Asad Qaiser said this raises the big question of why the PTI negotiation committee was not granted permission to meet with the founding chairman.

He said that if we want the negotiations to be serious, the leadership’s input is necessary, and the PML-N should state its clear position.

He had said that his party is committed to the negotiations, so they are speaking with confidence, regretting the words of Maryam Nawaz and Khawaja Asif.
