ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan dismissed claims of government contact for negotiations with former premier Imran Khan.

While talking to the media, Gohar clarified that neither he nor any party representatives had received any communication regarding such negotiations. “We are not engaged in negotiations with anyone,” he affirmed during a media interaction, pledging to share any government messages concerning negotiations with the public.

Furthermore, emphasising the distinction between their struggle for rights and resistance, Barrister Gohar urged against labeling their efforts as such.

Meanwhile, the PTI chairman also voiced concern for the former first lady, Bushra Bibi, currently under house arrest in Bani Gala, stressing the need for authorities to allow essential services, including access for medical personnel.

Expressing dissatisfaction with recent by-elections, Gohar condemned them as a farce and called for a reinforced democracy in the future. He announced PTI’s plans to organise nationwide protests on Friday, underscoring the party’s commitment to advocating for their cause.
