ISLAMABAD: Explosive revelations have surfaced regarding internal conflicts, financial scandals, and factionalism within Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), as leaked WhatsApp messages expose key figures embroiled in party conspiracies, revealed PTI Insider.
The messages show that Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan is actively maneuvering to consolidate power within the party while senior leaders engage in heated disputes over strategy, governance, and finances.
A Twitter handler PTI Insider tweeted a post of leaked messages between Aleema Khan and PTI leader Hamid Hiraj on X discussing judicial appointments.
During conversations, Hamid Hiraj suggested Aleema Khan to stay away from these unscrupulous people. They can bend to anything!” Hiraj warned Aleema Khan.
In his conversation, Hiraj said that Justice Mansoor [ Justice Mansoor Ali Shah] can be nominated as Chief Justice. Plans are in place to establish constitutional courts under [Justice] Faez Isa’s conditions. Aleema Khan replied with “Neutralize Mansoor and the Supreme Court!”
The messages show the party’s efforts to influence the judiciary at the highest levels.
The leaked audio also revealed discussions between Aleema Khan and PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, mostly probably referring to the KP police lathi charge on protesters about political unrest. Slaman Akram Raja said “I am sending this post to Ali Amin Gandapur.”
“If there is shelling of the police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, how will we criticize the Punjab Police? questions Aleema Khan in his conversation.
The PTI secretary general further warned about weak mobilization of the party. “The situation in Faisalabad is bad. Our provincial members failed to bring out people for protest.”
Barrister Gohar criticised over legal protests
The PTI Insider also leaked a conversation between PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar and Aleema Khan which show frustration over PTI’s lawyers’ failed protest outside the Supreme Court.
In conversation, Barrister Gohar admitted his failure of not attracting legal community to participate in the protest. Aleema Khan reacted sharply. “This is unacceptable. They should be ashamed. Strengthen the protest next time. The founder of PTI expects better!”
Aleema Khan can be heard saying “Sit outside the Supreme Court all day. Hamid Khan should be there.”
Aleema Khan also conveyed the message of someone saying that MNAs, MPAs, and even the party chairman did not participate in the protest.

Corruption allegations against Jibran Ilyas
The leaked audio also exposed serious corruption allegations against PTI’s Jibran Ilyas. Aleema Khan said that Jibran Ilyas is so corrupt that no one has been able to guess to date. If he doesn’t respond by evening, I will bring all the evidence to the surface, she added. She claimed that Ilyas bought a $1.5 million house in Philadelphia and a $16 million apartment in Manhattan. She further said that he purchased a private yacht and embezzled digital media funds from the UN and UNICEF.
Growing Divisions and Power Struggles
The revelations paint a picture of a party in turmoil. Aleema Khan appears to be consolidating power amid increasing internal conflicts. The leaked messages suggest:
