WEBB DESK: The Information Advisor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Barrister Dr Saif, has pledged to hold those responsible for the bloodshed of martyrs accountable. He criticised the government, demanding answers for the use of force against unarmed individuals during November 24 protest.
Dr Saif stated that prayer ceremonies are being held today at D-Chowk to honor the martyrs. He emphasised that these events also reaffirmed the commitment to seek justice for every drop of blood spilled.
Dr Saif accused the current administration of resorting to violence against peaceful workers. “The illegitimate government must explain ‘Goli Kyu Chalai’? the sacrifices of innocent workers will not go in vain,” he declared.
He further alleged that shedding innocent blood has become a hallmark of the Sharif family. Referring to the Model Town incident, he said, “Pregnant women were shot at point-blank range. Throughout history, innocent lives have been sacrificed to prolong their rule.”
Dr Saif expressed hope that the sacrifices of these unarmed workers would pave the way for restoring constitutional and legal order in the country.
