A case has been registered against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on allegations of inciting rebellion against the government and state institutions through an account on the platform “X” (formerly Twitter), sources report.

Moreover, the case, numbered 1138/24, was filed on September 13, 2024.

A four-member cybercrime team visited Adiala Jail at 7:45 PM to interrogate the PTI leader. According to sources, Imran Khan was summoned for questioning by the Deputy Superintendent of the jail.

However, citing legal consultation, the Imran Khan refused to cooperate with the investigation, sources claim. The cybercrime team will return to the jail on Saturday morning to continue the inquiry.
