ISLAMABAD: Dr. Muhammed Aasim Yusuf, Chief Medical Officer of the Shaukat Khanum Hospital, visited to the Adiala Jail and met with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan on Monday.
According to reports, Imran Khan’s personal physician, Dr Aasim Yusuf, arrived at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi and conduct a medical examination of the prime minister.
He was accompanied by doctors from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).

Earlier, on October 24, the Islamabad High Court directed authorities to form a medical board for the health examination of the former prime minister, who is currently imprisoned in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.
The IHC judge, Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb, also ordered that Imran Khan’s physician be included in the medical board.
Earlier today, talking to media outside the Adiala Jail, Dr. Aasim said Yusuf said that a comprehensive medical examination of the Imran Khan will be conducted today.
