ISLAMABAD: The federal government reacted to the accountability court verdict in the 190 million pound case against the opposition leader Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and Information Minister Atta Tarar said that the mega scandal in Pakistan’s political history has come to an end.
He said that the 190 million pound mega corruption scandal exposed Imran Khan’s hypocrisy and corruption. He said that the person who kept accusing others of corruption, himself was convicted in the biggest corruption case.
The Federal Information Minister said that Imran Khan has proven to be the biggest robber in the country’s history.
Earlier today, the accountability court Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the Accountability Court established in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail sentenced Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan to 14 years in prison and his wife Bushra Bibi to 7 years in the 190 million pound reference. Bushra Bibi was arrested from the court premises after the court verdict.
