LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has been released from jail. Furthermore, he arrived at his residence, Zahoor Elahi Palace, from Kot Lakhpat Jail.
Today, the Lahore High Court ordered the release of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi. Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed of the Lahore High Court has granted bail to Chaudhry Pervez Elahi in the case related to recruitment in the Punjab Assembly.

His lawyer, Amir Saeed Ran, argued that his client had no connection to these recruitments, and the Anti-Corruption Department had filed the case with a two-year delay. He stated that no candidate received money from his client for recruitment and fake recovery was made from his house by the Anti-Corruption Department.
The lawyer for the Anti-Corruption Department stated that the case against him was filed according to the law. The court accepted Pervez Elahi’s bail application. He was arrested on October 25, 2023.
