Pakistan Army troops have officially assumed security responsibilities in Islamabad under Article 245 of the Constitution.
The Ministry of Interior issued directives for the military’s deployment to ensure public safety and maintain law and order, according to sources.
The deployment process in Islamabad and its surrounding areas has been completed. Army personnel have begun patrolling the region to protect citizens and prevent any disturbances, sources added.
