The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted hot and humid conditions across the region from September 16 to 22. A continental air mass is dominating most areas, with a shallow westerly wave impacting the northern and western regions.

From September 16 to 17, the weather is expected to be predominantly hot and dry in most areas, though isolated rain and thunderstorms may occur in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan during the night.

Between September 18 and 22, hot and dry weather will likely persist across the country. However, there is a chance of rain, wind, and thunderstorms in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, and Kurram during the morning.

In Sindh, today’s maximum temperatures are predicted to be as follows: Nawabshah and Dadu at 39°C, Thatta at 35°C, Sukkur at 39°C, Hyderabad at 38°C, and Karachi at 32°C
