Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif will visit China from June 4 to 8 on the invitation of President Xi Jinping, Pakistan’s foreign ministry said on Friday.

This was announced by Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch during her weekly media briefing.

She said the PM’s four-day visit aims to further solidify the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and China.

Sharif will meet President Xi and hold delegation level talks with Premier Li Qiang, Baloch added.
In March, six Chinese engineers were killed in a suicide bombing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa..The engineers were working on a dam.
