Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif welcomed Dr. Zakir Naik upon his arrival in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister expressed pride in Dr Naik’s efforts to present the true image of Islam to the world, stating, “The Muslim Ummah takes pride in you for introducing the correct identity of Islam globally.”
He further noted the encouraging fact that a substantial number of young people form part of Dr Naik’s audience, highlighting the importance of engaging the youth.
“I listen to your lectures with great enthusiasm as they are highly esteemed and impactful,” the Prime Minister remarked, stating the significance of Dr Naik’s work in conveying the peaceful message of Islam. “Islam is a religion of peace, and you are performing an extremely important duty by disseminating its true message.”
Expressing his happiness, the Prime Minister noted, “I am delighted to learn that your son is following in your footsteps and serving the cause of Islam.” He also reminisced about his first meeting with Dr Naik in 2006.

Dr Zakir Naik shared his experiences, stating, “I first visited Pakistan in 1991, and the memories are still fresh.” He highlighted Pakistan’s unique position as “the only country created in the name of Islam,” adding that “Islam is a complete way of life that guides in every matter.”
“We will succeed if we walk the path of Islam,” Dr Naik asserted, reiterating his mission to spread the message of Islam worldwide. He informed the Prime Minister that he would be giving lectures not only in Islamabad but also in Karachi and Lahore.
In conclusion, the Prime Minister extended his best wishes to Dr Zakir Naik for his efforts in promoting Islam.
