The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) continued its upward trend against the US Dollar (USD) today, marking gains for the second day in a row.
Moreover, opening at Rs278 in the interbank market, the rupee remained stable throughout the day, closing at 277.63, appreciating by 0.02 percent.

The PKR also showed strength against major currencies, gaining one paisa against the UAE Dirham (AED), four paisas against the Saudi Riyal (SAR), and Rs1.31 against the Euro (EUR). However, it lost 69 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
On a fiscal year-to-date basis, the rupee has appreciated by 0.28 percent.
