Pakistan women’s cricket captain Nida Dar was removed from her position on Saturday following the team’s disappointing performance in the Asia Cup.

Sources revealed that Fatima Sana is set to be named the new captain for the upcoming World Cup.

Moreover, PCB Director of International Cricket, Usman Wahla, informed Dar of the decision, saying, “You are being removed from the captaincy. Fatima Sana will be the captain of the Pakistan women’s team. You will still be part of the national team.”

Furthermore, the official announcement of the new captain is expected soon.
