By Nowshera was rocked by tragedy on Monday when Khushboo, a local Pashto actress, was killed in a shooting incident.
According to her brother, Khushboo had been receiving threats from the accused, warning her to stop participating in music concerts. Despite these threats, Khushboo remained defiant and continued her performances.
This defiance is believed to have led to her tragic death. Khushboo was found shot, her body abandoned in nearby fields. Authorities quickly responded, transferring her remains to a hospital for a thorough post-mortem examination.

Khushboo’s tragic end echoes a similar incident in 2018, when Pashto singer and stage actress Resham Khan was also killed, allegedly by her husband.
In another incident, back in 2019, a local Pashto stage performer was allegedly tortured and murdered by her husband’s friends in Mardan district.
