By Suzuki Alto became Pakistan’s best selling car in April following a massive increase in its sales last month. According to the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association’s (PAMA) report, car sales increased by 12% in the country during April 2024.
The report revealed that auto manufacturers sold a total of 10,500 units last month, marking a 12% increase compared to March 2024. The increase in monthly sales can be attributed to the increased sales of Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC).
The company witnessed a 46% increase in its monthly sales, mainly due to a massive 64% increase in the sales of Suzuki’s Alto variant. According to the PAMA report, Suzuki sold a total of 4,786 units of Alto variants in April 2024, surpassing the company’s total monthly sales in March 2024.

This also marks the highest sales for this variant in the past 15 months. On the other hand, during the first ten months of FY24, the total car sales witnessed 31% decrease compared to the same period last fiscal year (10MFY23).
