Pakistani cybersecurity expert and ethical hacker Shehzad Ahmad has earned recognition from NASA for identifying a critical security vulnerability in their systems.
Ahmad’s discovery, reported in line with NASA’s VPD policy, has been acknowledged in a formal letter from the agency.
The letter highlights Ahmad’s valuable contribution, stating that his detection and reporting of the flaw have significantly enhanced NASA’s security measures and protected the integrity of its information.

Ahmad, a Google-certified cybersecurity professional, is currently a cybersecurity engineer at IPS Pakistan.
In addition, his previous roles include project manager at Great Future Pakistan and bug hunter at HackerOne.
Furthermore, he holds a bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Abasyn University and has received multiple accolades, including appreciation from the KPK government and a certificate for his role in controlling the COVID-19 spread.
