Pakistani businessman, backed by Indian partner, allegedly funds Adil Raja in UK

Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat – Ahmad Jawad, also known as Ahmad Jawad Gondal, a businessman from Mandi Bahauddin, is reportedly providing financial support to fugitive YouTuber Adil Farooq Raja through his law firm, Central Chambers Law Solicitors. This firm was co-founded with his Indian business partner Mannu Vaish, according to Samaa.

Key Figures and Allegations

Ahmad Jawad, along with PTI UK leader Mahtab Anwar Aziz, is believed to be sponsoring Adil Raja. Evidence suggests that Jawad, Vaish, and Aziz collaborate closely with Adil Raja in activities perceived as anti-Pakistan.

Jawad’s partner, Mannu Vaish, an Indian national, is known for his connections with the Indian High Commission in London. Together, they are said to support PTI activists Shayan Ali and Haider Mehdi, according to sources familiar with their activities targeting Pakistani institutions.

Central Chambers Law Solicitors

Ahmad Jawad and Mannu Vaish serve as managing directors and owners of Central Chambers Law, which allegedly provides financial assistance to Adil Raja, Shayan Ali, and Haider Mehdi. Despite having a legal education, Ahmad Jawad does not practice law but established the firm around seven years ago, according to records from the UK Company House.

Family Ties and Political Support

Ahmad Jawad’s brother, Moazzam Sheeraz, confirmed that their family supports PTI and hails from Chhimmon village in Mandi Bahauddin district, belonging to the Jutt/Gondal clan. Moazzam Sheeraz, who previously resided in Spain, has now relocated to London.

Allegations Against Pakistani Institutions

Mahtab Anwar Aziz, an employee of Ahmad Jawad, serves as a lawyer for both Shayan Ali and Adil Raja. Jawad has allegedly orchestrated press conferences through Aziz to launch attacks on Pakistani institutions from his London office. He also organized a press conference for PTI activist Syed Tasnim Haider to accuse General Bajwa of journalist Arshad Sharif’s murder.

Financial Misconduct and Court Proceedings

Last month, Mahtab Anwar Aziz testified in a UK court during Adil Raja’s trial, claiming that PTI UK activist Shayan Ali suffers from serious mental health issues. Aziz stated that Shayan, expelled from his London college over similar issues, is vulnerable and faces severe mental health challenges.

Aziz made allegations of terrorism, corruption, murder, kidnapping, torture, rigging, repression, and censorship against Pakistani institutions in court, but failed to substantiate his claims with evidence. The court fined Adil Raja £10,000 for defaming a retired Pakistani brigadier.

Upon Ahmad Jawad’s instructions, Aziz provided a 12-page supporting statement for Adil Raja’s court case. However, the court rejected his statement due to lack of evidence supporting his allegations against Pakistani institutions.
